WHAT IS PAINTBALL?
The ultimate game of tag in natural forest surroundings. Two teams compete to capture each other's flag in a strategic make-up of trees and structures. Players use air-propelled paintguns to mark and eliminate opponents with non-toxic paintballs. Top

If the ball breaks anywhere on you or your equipment, you are eliminated from that game. Return to staging and get ready for the next game. Top
DOES IT HURT?
The referee staff at Paintball Jungle ensures that all the correct standards of the game are followed. Every paintgun is checked for velocity (chronographed) before every game so that the paintballs are flying at less than 290 feet per second. At these speeds, the ball's impact is more startling than painful, something like the quick sting of a fat rubberband. I'VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE. WILL I BE OUT-GUNNED?
No experience is necessary. At Paintball Jungle special attention is given to beginner players. Beginners' games are offered, along with top-line rentals, to guarantee that a fun time is had by all. Top
DO I NEED TO SHOW UP WITH A TEAM OR HAVE RESERVATIONS TO PLAY?
Paintball Jungle is open to the public every Saturday & Sunday, 8:30-4:00, year round and no reservations are needed. Come by yourself or with a group of friends. Teams will be divided so that they are evenly matched, while allowing players who want to play together to do so. There are 6 Speedball/ Hyperball courses where beginners and small groups can play privately anytime without a reservation. Private birthday parties, bachelor parties, team-building events, and large groups are also available on weekends. Weekday games are available by reservation to groups of 15 or more. WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? HOW LONG ARE THE GAMES?
The park opens at 8:30. A short orientation follows sign-in at 9:00. Players who arrive throughout the day are given a complete orientation before they start. Continuous 30 minute games of Capture the Flag are played on the 45 acre Jungle Ball course between the red team and the green team, with 500 paintballs awarded to the one who hangs the flag. There are 6 Speedball/ Hyperball courses where beginners and small groups can play privately. Beginners may join the Jungle Ball game whenever they choose. Referees make sure there are equal numbers of experienced players on each team.
LUNCHTIME BREAK
At noon, there is a lunch break but the small courses remain open. The hot dog truck offers hot dogs, chili dogs, links, tamales, chips and sodas, or you're welcome to pack lunch. There is also an ice cream truck and a Jamba Juice stand. The lunch break ends with the daily raffle of a dozen prizes. (Raffle ticket included with admission.) Then the full schedule of games resumes until 4 P.M. Top
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO PLAY?
Rental packedges start at $55 and include all day admission, safety gear, semi-automatic marker and 500 paintballs. See Prices for complete list of packages.
Admission is $20 for self-equipped. High-pressure air fills also available at $10/day, unlimited fills. Paintball Jungle offers fresh, premium quality paintballs at low prices, starting at $39/case 2000. See itemized price list.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
Camo or dark-colored, loose-fitting, light-weight clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. No shorts or sandals. (Paintballs wash out.) Protective gear is provided at the field. Chest pad protectors and camo jumpsuits available. See Prices. Top

American Canyon Paintball Jungle is located in a flat, lush Eucalyptus grove. Its 50 acres of playing fields include forts, bunkers, teepee villages, and 6 speedball courses. WHO IS MAGIC CARPET BOB?
Resident pro and 1991 World Paintball Champion, Magic Carpet Bob provides a safe and friendly environment for people of all ages and diverse backgrounds to have fun in the woods in this exciting sport. Opponents who shoot Magic Carpet Bob during a flag game are awarded a shooter's patch. Top
WHO ARE THE SAN FRANCISCO HORNETS?
The SF Hornets Paintball Team was founded by Magic Carpet Bob in 1989. Members are picked for sportsmanship first and are always expected to be positive role models for the sport. As the home of the Hornets, American Canyon Paintball Jungle features the team once a day (first game after lunch) in the game of BEESWAX, in which all players join together in the hunt to track & eliminate the San Francisco Hornets for prizes.
